TMZ reported that the tragedy occurred on the outskirts of Las Vegas while he was competing with another driver in the eighth of nine races they were completing that day. Fellows was in a gold Nissan 240z and lost control near the finish line.

Brad Sparks created a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs and help his family as Fellows was survived by his wife Liz and two children, Josiah, 18, and Olivia, 10. “Ryan was an avid car enthusiast and was a road “warrior” in many ways that extended to loves of basketball, cars and business in sales/advertising,” the request begins.

Along with starring in Street Outlaws: America’s Fastest, Fellows also appeared in other iterations of the franchise, including Street Outlaws: Memphis. Street Outlaws connected him with the public and fans loved him.

According to Todas Noticias Fellows’ death comes just a few months after two other drivers on the show were in a near-fatal accident. Jonathan ‘JJ Da Boss’ and his wife, Tricia Day, were injured.
These two drivers were in a crash that occurred while filming Street Outlaws: America’s List in January 2022. Deep South Street Racing wrote in a Facebook post at the time reporting the health status of both.
